Proposal Title: This is the heading that will show up on the space page when people look at your proposal.
Proposal Description: Here is where you write a detailed explanation of your proposal. You can use different formats to make it clear and easy to understand, depending on what works best for your idea. You can also preview your proposal to see how it will look once it's submitted.
Proposal Banner (optional): You can add a banner image to your proposal. The suggested image ratio is 16:9. This banner will also be the preview image when someone shares your proposal on social media.
This is where you list the choices that voters can pick from. By default, you'll see two (2) empty boxes where you can add options. If you need more choices, just click Add choice
and it will give you another blank box to fill in.
This is where you decide what kind of voting system to use for your proposal. Each system has a specific purpose, so you'll choose based on what you want to achieve with the vote.
Single Choice Voting: Each person can select only one option.
Multiple Choice Voting: Each person can choose more than one option.
This is where you set the timing for your proposal. You can choose when the voting starts by selecting a specific date and time. If you want to delay voting, just pick a later start date. You can also choose a longer the voting period by setting the end date and time.
The timezone will match your device's timezone.
You can set the block height by selecting a specific date and time. If you don't choose one, the system will automatically use the latest block that's been synced from our node as the snapshot block height.
Your voting power is determined by a snapshot taken at a specific point in time on the blockchain. This means that if you buy or acquire more tokens after the proposal has been created, those new tokens won't count toward your voting power. Only the tokens you had at the time of the snapshot will be used to calculate your voting power.
After you fill in the block height, click Publish
and sign the message in your wallet. This completes the process of creating a proposal.
If you accidentally create a proposal, you can get rid of it by clicking Proposal Termination
in the upper right corner of the proposal.
